Scope and Importance
The Department of Marathi offers undergraduate and post-graduate degrees in Marathi. The department values communicative skills, critical thinking and knowledge among the students. The department gives importance to thecommunicative proficiency in Marathi language because we believe that Marathi is the aristocratic language.
The Department focuses on teaching quality, educational effectiveness and research aptitude. The department organizes poetry reading, essay writing and elocution competitions.
