The English department runs UG and P.G courses.The department is a family of 160 students and 5 teachers. Since English is the Lingua Franca of the world, acquiring the language provides a chance for students to carve a niche of their own in the highly competitive global scenario. The mission of the department is to empower the future citizens by sharpening their pragmatic competence. The department imparts quality education to students and also organizes various activities to hone their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.

Each faculty member earnestly contributes to this endeavor and update themselves by engaging in research activities and through active participation in various seminars and conferences. The department is also blessed by departmental library and a language lab which provide an edge to our students over other students as they can enrich their vocabulary, reading, listening and speaking skills in the department itself.

Our students can get placements in the professional and non professional colleges English and Marathi Medium Schools as teachers, corporate offices, banks officers etc. English language offers them immense opportunities in the fields where communication and translation skills are required.
