  • Introduction:-

 

The Department of Economics was established in the year 1968 while the Post Graduate level was established in the year 1991. The Department of Economics is one of the important departments in the college. The department of Economics is well known for its excellence in teaching and research. The faculty members of the department are continuously engaged in state of the art research as well as guiding the UG and PG students.

The department has made great efforts for the overall development of students by mentoring and guiding the student’s. Apart from the academic program, the faculty members of the department are constantly motivating the students for co-curricular activities. Department has an excellent collection of books, journals, and reference material available for students and faculties.

All the faculty members of the department are very keen to develop the overall personality of the students so they engage the students in various activities. Faculties are constantly working on different duties assigned by the college or university. The department All the faculty members are available as faculty advisors, consulting about their course; they are also willing to discuss carrier opportunities and even philosophy.

1) The department of Economics is one of the oldest departments of Karmaveer Kakasaheb Wagh Arts, Commerce and Science College Pimpalgaon (B).
